The 15th Annual Conference of HKSTAM 2010-2011 in conjunction with the 7th Jiangsu–Hong Kong Forum on Mechanics and Its Application, and Symposium on the Development of Mechanics in Macau will be held during March 11-12, 2011 in City University of Hong Kong and University of Macau. This conference is co-organized by the Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (HKSTAM), the Jiangsu Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (JSTAM), City University of Hong Kong and University of Macau. The conference topics cover mechanics and its application in all science and engineering disciplines.

The conference includes two sessions: half-day session in Hong Kong on 11 March and a full day session in Macau on 12 March. The technical sessions will include four invited distinguished lectures (plenary lectures on solids and fluids, 40 minutes for each lecture) and parallel sessions (in parallel sessions, 15 minutes for each talk). The due date of submitting one A4-page abstract in MS word file to Dr. Jeff Wang, the Secretary, is February 13, 2011. The abstract must include title, authors, affiliations and email address. An abstract template is attached here for your reference. Pre-registration with the attached registration form is required. The abstract and the completed registration form can be sent to Dr. Jeff Wang at jefwang@cityu.edu.hk.

Registration Fee:

HK$1,800 (covering dinner in Hong Kong on March 11, 2011, lunch and coffee breaks in Macau on March 12, 2011)

The fee is payable in cash on-site at the conference.

Transportation for lunch on March 12, 2011 is to be arranged in due. Information about hotels in the neighbourhood of University of Macau are also attached here for your information.
